The world's attention toward ILLIT's declaration of ‘NOT CUTE ANYMORE’ is reflected in the accumulated views of the music video.
On the 26th, JYP Entertainment confirmed that Stray Kids will take the stage as a headliner at the global music festival ‘Rock in Rio,’ scheduled to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in September next year.
‘Rock in Rio,’ first launched in 1985 in Rio de Janeiro, is one of the world’s most iconic and influential music festivals. It has since expanded to major cities such as Lisbon, Madrid, and Las Vegas, drawing legendary acts including Queen, Guns N’ Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and MUSE.
With this announcement, Stray Kids become the first K-pop group to headline ‘Rock in Rio’ in the festival’s nearly 40-year history. The performance also marks their return to Brazil approximately 1 year and 5 months after their ‘dominATE’ world tour concert at Estádio Nilton Santos in Rio de Janeiro last April.
Stray Kids’ expanding global stage presence continues to draw attention, following their headlining appearances at major international festivals including ‘Lollapalooza Paris’ in France, ‘I-Days’ in Milan, ‘BST Hyde Park’ in London, and ‘Lollapalooza Chicago’ last year.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids recently released SKZ IT TAPE DO IT, which achieved million-seller status on the day of release, topped the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart for four consecutive days, and ranked 11th on the Spotify Daily Top Songs Global chart.
