G-Dragon has been named one of the “Best Dressed of the 21st Century,” according to a list recently published by Complex Networks (Complex), an American fashion and culture media outlet.
Complex ranked G-Dragon at No. 16, placing him alongside leading global fashion icons such as Kanye West, Rihanna, Pharrell Williams, and David Beckham.
The decision was attributed to G-Dragon’s pioneering role in blurring the line between high fashion and streetwear, introducing forward-thinking items such as Alexander McQueen’s skull scarf, COMME des GARÇONS, and the Nike Air More Uptempo early in his career. Complex also highlighted his achievement as CHANEL’s first Asian male global ambassador since 2016, further proving his unparalleled influence in luxury fashion.
In addition, the evaluation reflected his contributions to shaping new global fashion trends through collaborations with brands like Nike and Jacob & Co., helping fuse luxury fashion with K-pop culture on a global stage.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon will hold the ‘Übermensch’ Seoul encore tour at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul from December 12th to 14th.
