“As Expected, Lee Chan Won”… Four Trophies at KGMA with ‘Brilliance’

 The singer Lee Chan Won has once again set a spectacular record at this year’s '2025 Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA)'.

On November 14th, at the '2025 KGMA with iM Bank' held at the Inspire Arena in Unseo-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon, Lee Chan Won secured four awards: Best Adult Contemporary, Trend of the Year (Trot Category), Best Artist 10, and Most Popular Award, achieving wins for the second consecutive year.

In his acceptance speech, Lee Chan Won expressed deep gratitude to his fans, saying, "For a singer to shine on stage, there must be an audience, and there must be fans who love me. I sincerely thank you for always cherishing and loving my songs." Especially after winning the Most Popular Award, he couldn't hide his joy, stating, "I am so happy. Thank you for your congratulations and support."
His performance also garnered attention. Lee Chan Won showcased a live performance of 'I Told You ', a track from his 2nd full-length album 'Brilliance ', for the first time on broadcast, elevating the stage quality with his guitar playing and mellow voice. Following this, he demonstrated solid vocal skills and presence with the title track 'Somehow Today ', drawing passionate cheers from the audience.

Having previously caused a sensation by winning five trophies at the '2024 KGMA' last year, Lee Chan Won's four-trophy win this year reconfirms his consistent popularity, vocal prowess, and musical achievements.

Furthermore, his recently released 2nd full-length album, 'Brilliance ', garnered attention by surpassing 610,000 copies in first-week sales (Hanteo Initial Chodong), achieving Half Million Seller status and setting his personal best Initial Chodong record. The title track, 'Somehow Today ', is receiving immense love from music fans, even topping the charts on MBC's 'Show! Music Core'.
