In particular, it proved its strong solo power by topping the album charts in major music markets such as Germany, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Japan, and France. In addition, "Echo" topped the World Wide iTunes album and European iTunes album charts on the day of its release.
Shinbo's title song "Don't Say You Love Me" also hit the music charts. The song topped iTunes' Top Song chart in 61 countries around the world, including France and Japan, and also topped the charts of Worldwide iTunes Song and European iTunes Song. Jin's second mini album "Echo" shows various moments of her life spreading like different sounds. Meanwhile, V, another member of BTS, also set a significant record with a solo song. V's digital single "Friends" (FRI) S, released in March last year, reached a milestone of exceeding 500 million cumulative views on Spotify, a global music streaming platform. According to Spotify, "Friends" exceeded 500 million cumulative views on the 15th.
"Friends" is a song about wanting to develop into a lover beyond a long-term relationship, and it was popular worldwide, entering the U.S. Billboard main single chart "Hot 100" at the time of release and ranking 13th in the U.K. official single chart "Top 100."
