JYP Entertainment has once again stepped up to aid those in need, announcing a generous donation of 300 million won to World Vision for emergency relief and child treatment following the devastating earthquake in Myanmar. The announcement, made on the 9th, highlights JYP's commitment to global humanitarian efforts and its ongoing support for communities affected by natural disasters.

The substantial donation will specifically target 11 villages in Myanmar's Mandalay region, which suffered severe damage from last month's earthquake. The funds are earmarked for urgent supplies, including food, essential goods, and clean drinking water. Additionally, the donation will provide critical financial support for the treatment of children and offer psychosocial support to help affected individuals recover from the traumatic event.

JYP expressed profound condolences to the victims and their families, stating, "We extend our deepest sympathies to those who have lost their lives, their loved ones, and all who have suddenly found themselves without a home. Through this support, we hope that children and families can swiftly escape the disaster's shadow and return to their daily lives and health."

This donation is part of JYP's ongoing commitment to philanthropy and disaster relief. The company has a notable history of providing financial assistance in times of crisis. In 2020, JYP contributed 500 million won to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In 2022, they donated 300 million won to aid recovery efforts following wildfires in the Gangwon and Gyeongbuk regions. Earlier this year, JYP provided 500 million won to support children and residents affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, and just last month, they donated another 500 million won for wildfire recovery efforts in the Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk regions.
