Q. What is the background behind the founding of REVMED?

Twenty years ago, when stem cells first began to attract attention, I developed a deep interest in the field. With extensive experience in healthcare, I founded REVMED with a mission to extend human life and overcome diseases. We focused on developing a system that blocks external contamination, ensuring the safe use of our bio kits for cell separation. Moving forward, we will continue to grow with an unwavering spirit of challenge and innovation.

Q. What are the main business areas of REVMED?

REVMED independently develops and manufactures bio kits that extract and concentrate growth factors and regenerative agents from blood, bone marrow, and adipose tissue. We have obtained patents and regulatory approvals in over 30 countries, expanding our exports worldwide.

Additionally, we are focusing on stem cell-based therapies. With anticipated policy changes, these treatments are expected to contribute to reducing healthcare costs. In 2024, we expanded our business into the medical device sector by launching a medical laser irradiation system.

Q. What gives REVMED a competitive edge?

The NovaStem Bio Kit series, developed by REVMED, offers ease of use with minimal manipulation and ensures high safety through a closed system that prevents external contamination. Designed to concentrate autologous cells present in bone marrow or blood, this product incorporates a patented three-chamber system that efficiently separates red blood cells, which can cause inflammation and side effects, with simple operation.

Q. What new businesses are you preparing for future growth?

REVMED is actively investing in expanding into the smart healthcare sector. We have completed the first phase of development for Run & Heal, an application designed to help individuals manage their health conditions effectively, and plan to develop various new businesses based on this platform.

The advanced regenerative biotechnology market has been rapidly expanding since 2020, reflecting growing interest in cell-level regenerative treatments. We aim to provide high-quality bio kits to ensure that patients suffering from conditions previously deemed untreatable receive safe and effective treatment.

Q. What are your future plans and goals?

Over the next 10 to 20 years, REVMED aims to develop treatments for currently incurable diseases. A particular focus is on autoimmune diseases, especially atopic dermatitis, where existing treatments are prohibitively expensive and do not offer a permanent cure. We are committed to developing curative technologies that provide practical solutions for patients struggling to access effective treatments.

Furthermore, we are strengthening our presence in domestic and international markets by collaborating with local partners to secure product certifications and establish marketing strategies. We will continue to expand our lineup of cutting-edge bio products to meet diverse medical needs.
