J-Hope (real name Jung Ho-seok), who was discharged from the military service last year, held his first solo concert since his debut and took a powerful step toward the world tour. He will accelerate his solo career by releasing a digital single "Sweet Dreams," which he sang with U.S. R&B singer Miguel on the 7th.

J-Hope announced the spectacular prelude to his first solo world tour in 12 years by attracting 37,500 spectators at the "J-Hope Tour 'Hope on the Stage' in Seoul" held at the Olympic Park Case For Dome (formerly Gymnastics Stadium) in Songpa-gu, Seoul from February 28 to March 2.

At the concert, J-Hope divided the theme into five parts, "Ambitious", "Dream", "Expect", "Imagination", and "Wish", and sang a total of 21 songs to the live band, from "One Bus" to the new song "Sweet Dreams", which is scheduled to be released on the 7th. J-Hope said, "The name of the performance means that J-Hope will show everything on this stage. I will express the various emotions you feel on stage as I am."

During the "Sweet Dreams" stage, which drew particular attention in this performance, ARMY (fandom) waved smartphone lights and cheered for J-Hope's new song. "I thought, have I ever done a proper love song? So I wanted to work on a song that many people can listen to easily and comfortably," J-Hope said, explaining the new song, "It's a serenade of love for ARMY."

Before the encore stage, J-Hope said, "I'm so proud of ARMY, and I want to show this to the world. I want to make you feel that artists and fandom are playing so well and leading the performance so well," and added, "The Seoul concert was the best performance, and everything was perfect. I'll be back soon. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your enthusiastic cheers and support."

After performing in Seoul, J-Hope will perform 31 times in a total of 15 cities, including a North American tour and an Asian tour, including Brooklyn, Chicago, San Antonio, and Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, J-Hope released the first concept photo of his new song "Sweet Dreams" on Thursday. "He expressed the warmth and stability of 'Love' in a colorful way and added a pleasant image of J-Hope," his agency Big Hit Music said. "J-Hope gives off positive energy by holding a big bouquet of flowers in the sky like a balloon."
