Blackpink Rosé and Bruno Mars will perform a collaboration at "2024 MAMA AWARDS".
On the 21st, CJ ENM, the host company, announced that Rosé and Bruno Mars will appear together at the first day of the "2024 MAMA AWARDS" Japan event in Osaka, Kyocera Dome, Japan, on the 22nd. In particular, the two are expected to perform Rosé's solo song "APT." on a live stage for the first time.
"APT." was inspired by a Korean drinking game, featuring addictive melodies and exciting band sounds. Upon its release, it proved its global popularity by ranking second in the UK's official single chart "Top 100" and eighth in the US Billboard main single chart "Hot 100."
Bruno Mars is a world-renowned pop star with numerous hits, including "Just the Way You Are," "Marry You," and "Uptown Funk." He is loved by fans around the world for his outstanding musicality and performance, and his collaboration with Rosé is expected to be a special gift for music fans.
Rosé is continuing her successful career as a solo artist as well as as a member of Blackpink. She will show a wider musical spectrum through her first full-length album, rosie, which will be released on Dec. 6.
Meanwhile, "2024 MAMA AWARDS" will start with the U.S. Awards held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on the 22nd, followed by the Japan Awards ceremony at the Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan on the 22nd and 23rd.
