BLACKPINK has surpassed 100 million subscribers on YouTube, once again proving its unrivaled influence as the global ‘YouTube Queen.’
According to YG Entertainment on February 21, the group’s official YouTube channel exceeded 100 million subscribers at approximately 7.31 p.m. on February 20.
The milestone comes about 9 years and 8 months after the channel’s launch in June 2016, marking an extraordinary achievement even among artists worldwide.
The surge in subscribers is closely tied to the promotion of the group’s upcoming third mini album "DEADLINE," set for release on February 27. BLACKPINK’s enduring digital dominance is further underscored by its Guinness World Records recognition as the band with the most viewed videos on YouTube, with a total of 50 videos surpassing 100 million views.
In particular, since the release of the album announcement video on January 15, the channel has gained an average of more than 10,000 new subscribers per day, signaling continued expansion of its already formidable global fanbase.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK will release its third mini album "DEADLINE" at 2 p.m. on February 27, unveiling a new chapter in its musical evolution.
