LAS VEGAS -- Singer G-Dragon has visited the Consumer Electronics Show, the world's largest annual consumer electronics exhibition held in Las Vegas, on January 9. The 35-year-old former BIGBANG member explored various South Korean high-tech products including LG's next-generation mobility concept "Alpha-able" and "Ballie," an artificial intelligence-based home companion robot created by Samsung Electronics. Among 4,314 companies participating in the global technology event held from January 9 to January 12, about 18.3 percent are from South Korea.

The K-pop artist will make his comeback in 2024. His new agency "Galaxy Corporation" aims to showcase aspects of G-Dragon other than what he has shown so far. The celebrity ended his contract with his former agency YG Entertainment in June 2023. The artist will also set up a foundation to raise awareness about drug use. The singer, who was put under a drug investigation in November 2023, has been cleared of all charges, and the police have officially closed the case.
