BTS' Jungkook ranks third in Spotify Global Top Songs chart with '3D'

SEOUL -- Jungkook, the youngest member of BTS has ranked third in the global song chart of Spotify, one of the world's most popular online music streaming services, with his dance song "3D."  
 
Through the new single with R&B features, the 26-year-old expressed his hope that he wants to meet his loved one in "three dimensions" and always stay together. The South Korean artist collaborated with American rapper Jack Harlow for the R&B track. The song, released at 1 p.m. (0400 GMT) on September 29, topped iTunes song charts in 100 regions as of 8 a.m. on September 30 including the United States, Britain, Canada, and Japan.
 
3D debuted at No.3 on Spotify's Global Top Songs chart on September 29 with 6,328,084 streams, the band's agency said on October 1. Junngkook has earlier topped the global chart for about 20 days with "Seven," his solo debut song rolled out on July 14.
 
Jungkook is the sixth member of BTS to release his very first solo album. In May 2023, he was appointed as the global ambassador of Calvin Klein, an American fashion brand known for its underwear and denim products. As the ambassador, the South Korean artist is promoting various fashion items and campaigns.
