World K-Pop Center launches Korea's first K-pop music video awards, KMVA

K-pop's music videos have become one of the genre's most influential global calling cards, helping artists expand beyond music through cinematic storytelling, visual effects and large-scale production.

Yet while performers have long dominated major awards ceremonies, the creative professionals behind those productions have rarely had a dedicated platform of their own.

That gap is set to narrow with the launch of the K-POP MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS (KMVA), Korea's first awards program devoted exclusively to K-pop music videos.
