Girl group MEPC shared Lunar New Year greetings dressed in elegant traditional hanbok. The seven members Miho, Solmi, Kkaekkae, Hara, Ann, Zaylie, and Anika wore hanbok reflecting their individual personalities on February 15, delivering warm holiday wishes to fans in Korea and around the world.
In the hanbok pictorial, the members revealed a striking contrast to their charismatic stage presence. They displayed a pure and graceful elegance unique to traditional Korean attire, presenting another dimension of their appeal as global ambassadors of K-pop.
Debuting officially in December last year, the seven-member group has already been recognized as a promising multinational K-pop project. The group has drawn attention for its global composition and expansion potential as a next-generation multinational K-pop act.
Their debut mini album First Fragment showcased a dramatic transformation. While pre-debut content such as My Face Turns Red highlighted youthful charm, the album introduced a more powerful and intense presence, capturing attention with its striking reversal of image.
Live performance clips, reaction videos, and cover content have rapidly spread across platforms including YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. This expanding visibility continues to strengthen expectations for their advancement into the global market.
The group’s defining strength lies in its international diversity. With members from Korea, Tunisia, Myanmar, Nepal, and India, MEPC connects with fans worldwide through diverse languages and cultural backgrounds, building a strong foundation for global expansion.
Member Zaylie said, "Our goal this year is to hold fan meetings and meet fans in Korea and around the world as soon as possible. Someday, we hope to attend the MAMA AWARDS together and win a grand prize."
The members added, "During the holiday, we plan to fully enjoy Korean Lunar New Year traditions such as bowing ceremonies, rice cake soup, and traditional meals. We hope the Lunar New Year brings happiness and good fortune to our fans and families in Korea and in each of our home countries."
