Disney+ Unveils Official Poster Featuring a Cold World Ruled by Wealth and Hierarchy
Disney+ has released the main poster for its upcoming original series Made in Korea, signaling an intense drama set in the era of ‘Prohibition,’ where Hyun Bin, Jung Sung-il, Noh Jae-won, and Park Yong-woo engage in a high-stakes and unpredictable battle for power.
The series follows the story of Baek Ki-tae (Hyun Bin), a man who rises to the pinnacle of political influence and immense fortune by exploiting the nation itself as his profit model during the turbulent 1970s—an era defined by rapid growth, control, and harsh surveillance. Facing him is prosecutor Jang Geon-young (Jung Woo-sung), who tenaciously pursues him to the edge of the cliff, drawing them into an explosive clash that shakes an entire era.
The newly released poster captures four pivotal figures in an atmosphere heavy with tension and authority. In the center, Baek Ki-tae (Hyun Bin), faintly revealed through rising smoke, exudes an unflinching and calculated presence that reflects his cold determination to stop at nothing in his pursuit of ultimate power.
Cheon Seok-jung (Jung Sung-il) radiates a chilling sense of control with his solemn expression, while Pyo Hak-soo (Noh Jae-won) conveys a meticulous and unsettling calm. Hwang Guk-pyeong (Park Yong-woo), with his piercing gaze, adds a powerful layer of weight and unpredictability. Together, their contrasting silhouettes suggest deep-seated rivalries and intricate relationships built on ambition, loyalty, and betrayal.
The poster’s tagline, “The Age of Prohibition — The one and only power that is not forbidden,” further heightens anticipation for a fierce, emotionally charged saga fueled by greed, ambition, and the relentless desire to claim absolute dominance in a controlled society.
Made in Korea will be released exclusively on Disney+, with a total of six episodes following a weekly rollout:
