Rosé has further cemented her status as one of K-pop’s most influential solo artists as her global hit ‘APT.’ took home the prestigious Song of the Year Daesang at the 2025 MAMA AWARDS.
THEBLACKLABEL confirmed on the 29th that Rosé won the Grand Prize with her duet track ‘APT.’ (Apartment) featuring Bruno Mars at the ceremony held at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong on the 28th.
The win underscores the song’s sweeping cultural and commercial impact, igniting viral TikTok and Instagram challenges, dominating global charts, and resonating as a full-fledged cultural phenomenon.
This marks Rosé’s second major Song of the Year win on the global music circuit, following her trophy at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards in the U.S. Expectations are now elevating ahead of next year’s Grammy Awards, where ‘APT.’ is nominated in three major categories: Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
Accepting the honor via video, Rosé said, “I’m truly grateful to everyone who showed so much love this year. Thank you to the fans, and to the composers and staff who worked so hard to bring this music to life. I’ll keep creating music that I’m proud to share with the world.”
Rosé is keeping a packed schedule as she gears up for the upcoming BLACKPINK solo concert tour, ‘DEADLINE’.
