K-Indie Lounge, operated by the Label Industry Association of Korea, has curated and unveiled four new indie releases for November, capturing the emotional depth and introspective mood of late autumn. These tracks showcase the rich lyrical expression, individuality, and narrative sensitivity that define Korea’s indie music landscape, spanning themes of separation, self-reflection, growth, societal insight, and comfort.
Singer-songwriter Hong Isaac of Archive Achim released his new single “Hello, goodbye.” on November 12 at 6 PM. Arriving approximately nine months after his mini-album The Lovers Note, the single includes the tracks “Hello, Take Care.” and “My Little Village.” Both songs carefully capture the emotional turbulence that follows separation, evoking deeper resonance as Hong Isaac’s warm acoustic sound intertwines with his soft, contemplative vocals.
MITI, under weete, unveiled “socks,” his first venture into G-Funk and a notable shift from his previous musical direction. Built on a foundation of R&B/Soul with groovy rhythms and playful synth lines, the track cleverly uses the everyday metaphor of socks to critique the pressure to conform to societal expectations—delivering a sound that feels fresh, witty, and instantly rhythmic.
Female duo band OmO released their fifth single, “Homage,” on November 18. Starting from the experience of losing oneself while chasing childhood admiration, the song becomes a small tribute and personal record of comfort—offered to their younger selves. With a lively blend of electric guitar and keyboard, OmO gently but firmly conveys the message that authenticity can exist even within imperfection.
Agenda of Stoneship released “gill” on November 19, in collaboration with producer Whyahyun. The track offers a unique emotional metaphor—likening suffocating love to a fish gasping with gills outside of water. Agenda’s smooth, emotive vocals blend with Whyahyun’s dreamy, atmospheric production, creating a delicate yet immersive arrangement. As his first release following a full-length album in August, the single raises anticipation for the future evolution of his sound.
Meanwhile, the Label Industry Association of Korea, in collaboration with Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, Jeju Content Agency, and the Jeju Music Creation Studio, successfully hosted the “2025 Jeju Music Weekend” on November 15. Marking its fifth anniversary this year, the event offered a meaningful platform for creative dialogue—exploring the potential of Jeju’s emerging music ecosystem and future directions for its artistic infrastructure through seminars, showcases, and networking programs.
