솔직히 미국 사람도 별로 안 좋아한다고 생각해요.

미국 같은 경우만 해도 거의 필수잖아요.

"The culture might be different But if it's forced, it may not be a culture How should we accept tips?"
문화는 다를 수 있습니다 하지만 강요된다면 그건 문화가 아닐지도 모릅니다. 팁 우리는 어떻게 받아들여야 할까요?
"There's a tip culture that's coming into Korea these days Is this really the positive culture of our country? How is overseas tip culture structured We've heard the opinions of foreigners"
요즘 한국에도 슬그머니 들어오고 있는 팁 문화 이건 정말 우리나라의 긍정적인 문화일까요? 또 해외 팁 문화는 어떻게 구성되어 있는지 외국인들의 의견을 들어봤습니다.

어디서 오셨나요?
"I'm from the United States"
미국에서 왔어요.
"I'm from Turkiye"
튀르키예에서 왔어요.

중국에서 왔어요.
"I come from Poland"
폴란드에서 왔어요.
"from Germany"
독일에서 왔어요
"I'm from France, Paris"
프랑스에서 왔어요.
"Oh, New Zealand"
뉴질랜드에서 왔어요.
"Q2. What is the custom of tipping in your country?"
Q. 본인 나라에서 팁 문화는?
[미국]
"Typically in the United States, accustomed to tipping between probably 15 and 25% It's gotten up to like 25, 30%, so it's growing I think people would rather not give tips, but I think they do feel uncomfortable. just because the establishment typically pressures the person"
보통 미국에서는 15%에서 25% 사이의 팁을 내는 편이예요 25-30%까지 지불 할 수도 있어요. 점점 더 내는 쪽으로 가는 것 같아요 솔직히 미국 사람도 별로 안 좋아한다고 생각해요 하지만 불편해지니까 그러면 시스템적으로 어느정도 무언의 압박이 있거든요.
"So like if you go to like a cafe, it's always on the electronic payment system
like a haircut or a beauty treatment, they will still expect it"
카페 같은 데 가면 항상 전자 결제 시스템에 적혀 있다던지 미용실을 가도 담당 선생님이 굉장히 기대를 하는 눈치를 주죠.
[튀르키예]
"I guess tipping is given in many countries, In USA, in America, giving tip is sometimes a must, also in my country"
일단 팁을 주는 나라는 많죠 미국 같은 경우만 해도 거의 필수잖아요 우리나라도 마찬가지예요.
"you know When you go to buy some pizza, you have to give tip to waiters we have hospitality in Turkiye when they get tip they feel more motivated so they will do better job"
피자를 사러 가도 종업원한테 팁을 줘야해요 튀르키예는 이런 문화를 선호해요 직원들은 팁을 받으면 의욕이 생겨서 일을 더 하니까요.
[중국]
"nothing they don't have money from this this way so they only can get money from salary"
없어요 이런 방법으로 추가적으로 돈을 벌 순 없어요 돈 버는 방법은 오로지 월급.
[폴란드]
"In Poland tipping curture exists but we tip only the service of the restaurant Most of the time, it's 10%,"
팁 문화 있죠 있어요 다만 레스토랑에서만 주는 편이예요 보통 가격의 10%정도.
[독일]
"so tipping in my country is pretty normal like if you go to restaurant then it's pretty normal to give a tip like for example if the bill is like 30 euro you usually give a tip of like five euro or like three euro"
우리나라의 팁 문화는 인사같은거예요 레스토랑에 간다하면 그냥 별 생각없이 내는거예요 계산서에 30유로가 써있다면 3~5 유로를 내는편이예요.
[프랑스]
"it's not always given in France It's based on the service If we appreciate it, we can give a tip
sometimes we just give nothing It's not always included in the price"
프랑스에선 항상 내지 않아요 서비스가 충족해야하죠 고맙다고 느끼면 주면 되는거죠 안 낼때도 많거든요 그리고 가격표에서 팁은 따로 계산되요.
[뉴질랜드]
"No, it's not a given in New Zealand"
뉴질랜드에서는 내지 않아요.
Q3. "Should we bring culture to Korea?"
Q3. 팁 문화 한국에도 도입해야 될까요?
[미국]
"I think it's nice that Korea doesn't expect it companies pay their workers a little more equally I don't think I've ever given tip in Korea And if I've tried, they've said no it's just because it's not typical, like culturally I've gotten used to not tipping"
한국에선 별로 좋지 않다고 생각해요 직원들에게 급여를 더 지급하는게 맞다고 생각해요 저도 한국에선 팁을 줘야한다고 느끼지 못하니까요. 심지어 주려고 해봤는데 거절당했어요 문화적으로 일반적이지 않기 때문이겠죠 저도 안 주는거에 익숙해졌어요.
[튀르키예]
"I think it is It is, yeah Actually, yeah I think in some of Asian countries like Korea, tipping curture is not come on I think maybe can do some kind of motivating activities give it a try their actions, how they will serve you back"
좋을 것 같은데요? 아시아 국가들 중 일부는 팁 문화가 없죠 그래서 동기부여가 된다고 생각해요.
한번 시도해 보세요 서비스가 달라질걸요.
[중국]

미국이나 다른 나라에서는 많이 하는데 한국에서는 과하다고 생각해요.
[폴란드]
"I think if society don't want it, it shouldn't be thing Korea want to introduce tipping culture"should be align with the society acceptance because it's just unnatural and against your culture"
시민이 원하지 않는다면 팁 문화를 도입하는건 아닌거 같아요 사회적 약속이 맞아 떨어져야하죠
강요는 부자연스럽고 문화에 반대하는 것이니까.
[독일]
"i don't want to force anybody's other culture in like the culture in korea
because mostly here in the restaurant is either it's self-service or you order at the machine
this in Korea so and if the person is really nice but of course you can live a tip"
강요하고 싶지 않아요 한국에 타문화를 강요하는 것을 여기 식당에 있는 대부분은 셀프서비스나 기계 주문이니까.,.. 여기는 한국이잖아요. 좋은 사람이 있으면 팁을 줄 수는 있겠죠.
[프랑스]
"I don't know the wages in Korea when they're doing working if the paid is a bit lower maybe good thing"
한국의 급여를 모르지만 종업원들이 일하면서 급여가 정말 작다면 좋을 수도 있을 것 같아요.
[뉴질랜드]
"it would be good to introduce to New Zealand I don't know what the opinion is in Korea"
뉴질랜드에는 도입되면 좋을 것 같긴한데 한국은 잘 모르겠어요.
"Q4. How much can you tip if you have to?"
Q4. 팁을 낸다면 얼마까지 낼 수 있나요?
[미국]
"I stay at 15 If it's a personal service, like a haircut, I will go up to like 20 really good service, I'll go up to like 20."
최소 15% 헤어 커트 같은 경우라면 20%는 주죠 서비스가 정말 좋으면 최대 20%까지.
[튀르키예]
"give 10 or 15% But if I really like the service I'd like to give like around 20% or 25%"
10-15%는 내요 하지만 서비스가 정말 마음에 든다? 20~25%까지도 가능해요.
[중국]
"15 to 20." Just think of a random number"
15~20% 이 사이에서 줄 것 같아요.
[폴란드]
"In Poland, like come on 10% anything more is very kind to us"
폴란드에서는 10%가 기본이예요 친절하면 더 드려야죠.
[독일]
"I try to make the number round So if it's like 21 euro, I say oh 25 euro If it's like 22 euros, I say oh 25."
숫자를 딱 떨어지게 올려서 줘요 21유로를 내야하면 25유로 22유로여도 25유로.
[프랑스]
"I would say maybe 10% 20% the service must be really good"
10%가 기본 정말 마음에 들면 20%.
[뉴질랜드]
"if the service is good I'd tip the highest like 20% if it's not good I wouldn't tip"
20%정도 낼 수 있을 것 같아요 하지만 별로면 아예 주지 않을 거예요.
