Amazon CEO Predicts AI-Driven Workforce Reduction

Amazon's Chief Executive Officer, Andy Jassy, announced on June 17th that artificial intelligence (AI) is expected to significantly impact the company's workforce in the coming years.

In an email to employees, Jassy highlighted that AI-powered tools, including generative AI, will transform job roles, potentially reducing the need for white-collar positions.

"Some roles will require fewer people, while other new roles will emerge," Jassy explained, indicating a shift in workforce dynamics.
